The gossip about Zac Efron’s romantic life started with High School Musical and it never really died down. It makes sense, Zac is a talented actor, he seems like a genuinely lovely guy, and he’s absolutely freaking gorgeous. Who wouldn’t want to know all about him? Perhaps some of his fans just want to know who’s his type, and the rest are just nosy curious people who can’t help but wonder about who he’s dating. But you know, it’s not like Zac is being super secretive, he seems to love mixing work and pleasure. Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

Perhaps this obsession the public has with Zac Efron’s dating life started because his first big relationship that we knew of was with his co-star on High School Musical – Vanessa Hudgens. Sparks were flying on-screen between their characters and clearly that transitioned into their real lives, the actors actually dated too, so naturally, it felt like it was meant to be. However, Zac and Vanessa ended their relationship after 5 years.

A similar thing happened when Zac was playing Ted Bundy (yes, it does sound creepy when we put it like that). There were a lot of rumors about him dating his co-star Lily Collins. I mean, do we wanna get into the whole idea of playing a serial killer who would lure his victims in by being attractive and charming and popular with the ladies? Yeah, let’s not.
